The story behind the music

Discover the journey that shaped Bob, from early guitar lessons to performing around the world. Learn about the passion and dedication that goes into every show.

From humble beginnings to global stages

My musical journey began in middle school, strumming a guitar. After high school, the Army took me on an incredible adventure, allowing me to play in bands across the United States, South Korea, Belgium, and Saudi Arabia. A highlight was my selection to play guitar and sing in the U.S. Army Soldier Show in 1992. After retiring from the Army in 2013, I continued to perform both solo and with local bands, sharing my love for music wherever I go.

Simple, honest, and unforgettable sound

Beyond the hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today, my unique sound is all about simplicity and honesty. I don't rely on excessive technology to overproduce the music; it's just me, my guitar, and my voice. I play the songs everybody knows and loves, delivering them with a friendly personality and a genuine love for entertaining people. A Bobby Boucher Music show is special because it's a direct connection between performer and audience.

Creating cherished memories through music

What I enjoy most about performing is seeing a song bring back personal memories for the audience. There's nothing more rewarding than reminding people how good it felt to hear their song "the first time." My goal is to create an experience where the audience feels connected to the music, to their past, and to the joy of a live performance. It's about sharing those moments and making new memories together.
